December 2010,

The year is ending and it is with great excitement that we welcome Mike as our
new commercial director. As a practicing artist he is also involved in curatorship
and presentation at exhibitions and showings.

We have a new and exciting development from Jonathan Basckin with two
completely different issues this year. One, Two,Three Many is now available via
his web page www.basckin.co.za and is well worth a visit. We remain responsible
for the commercial distribution of these 16 wonderful pieces. There has already
been a response from the press and excerpts will be posted as soon as we have
the necessary permissions.

Additionally Basckin has just completed his Angel Series which we are
introducing this month in our portfolio section. Have a look and do let us know
what you think.

Howzit China Galleries

Past & Present

Howzit China Galleries is situated in the oldest suburb of Cape Town, Oranjezicht; so called because the Orange Flags on the Fort were clearly visible from here when the Cape was originally a Dutch Colony.

The 130 year old building houses a wonderful collection of Prints, Contemporary Chinese Paintings, Original South African Artists and Photographic works.

As print specialists and copyright holders, our curators can put together collections and themed material for interior designers and architects as well as negotiate specialist sizing for unique applications.

If you would like to see any of the works in your particular context please send us a photograph of the location with an indication of scale (a typical dimension will do) and we will gladly upload your desired image and return the photograph with the artwork located thereon.

We are constantly being approached by new artists and update our pages continuously, so please visit often remembering to clear your web browsers cache each time.

Most of the currently available work can be seen on these web pages however we do have all the collections available in the gallery. Viewing is strictly by appointment and if you are interested in viewing we encourage you to contact us.
